Bladder exstrophy including urinary system, reproductive system, the intestinal system and the musculoskeletal system is a highly complex and rare congenital anomaly. Per 1,000 live births occur in 1 and is seen two times more in males than females. When the baby is born bladder is outside the body, the bones are in separated position between the legs and the integrity of genital organs has failed. In these cases treatment is surgical and personalized. Including one- and two-stage, two types of surgical procedures are possible. Open bladder must be closed within 48 hours following birth. The aim of the treatment is to make the patients urinate in a healthy way, control their bladder and sexually healthy individuals. Monitoring of these patients lifetime is essential.
